Key Focus
Local groups have been much exercised recently in response to the unprecedented level of new development and regeneration projects. These groups have managed to sway decisions on local planning issues and make developers look again at projects which impinge on the local communities.
The Society takes an open and consultative approach to these concerns, actively directing residents towards the appropriate contacts within Oxford City and County Councils and/or outside bodies. Over the years, we have been able to guide a number of Community Groups in the way they need to address their local concerns.
