 Are you concerned about the quality of Oxford’s built environment and the impact of planning, transport and environmental issues on peoples’ lives?  If you are interested in protecting Oxford’s heritage, and would like to know more about the city, then join us now and help to shape the city’s future –Application form

 

Benefits of membership

  • Year round series of talks (without charge) given by leading speakers which are held in interesting locations across Oxford and cover a wide variety of subjects – eg Oxford history, buildings, current developments
  • Extensive programme of visits and walks (usually for a small charge) – in and out of Oxford – led by local experts
  • Regular Newsletters and Members' Bulletins inform and update everyone on developments and issues                                         
  • An opportunity to influencing Oxford’s future and the Society's work with ongoing or one-off projects
  • The potential to influence national policies via the Society's membership of Civic Voice, the national network for the civic movement

 Subscription Rates

Individual: £10 if paid by cheque or £9 by standing order.

Joint (2 people at the same address): £14 by cheque or £12 by standing order.

Corporate: £100 minimum

Residents’ Associations & other Local Groups: £5

Students: £5

 

We encourage members who wish to help the Society financially to add a donation to their subscription.  Given our charitable status, subscription could be worth an extra 28% to the Society if you tick the Gift Aid Declaration box on the Application form

 

Gifting

Why not give a friend or neighbour Gift Membership of the Society for one year? We will send the recipient a card with a note that their membership has come from you. Just send us your cheque for £10 for single membership, or £14 for two members at the same address.
