Achievements

Recent achievements include:

• active contributions to development plans for The West End of Oxford, Radcliffe Infirmary site, Warneford Meadows, London Road Traffic Improvement schemes and Park & Rideimprovements
• input to the development of the Public Realm Strategy
• the launch of OxClean a major new imitative which embraces litter Preventative Campaigns, Spring Cleans and Schools’ Anti-Litter Campaign (see www.oxclean.org.uk)
• the publication of ‘Bus Stops’ a booklet which aims to increase bus usage by improving bus stops
• a ‘Bus Connectivity’ study which highlights problems encountered by people trying to get from A to B by bus
• application for charitable status (granted, November 2006)
• the organization of a programme of 50 walks, talks and visits for the benefit of members
