TRAVEL 

Activity

Our overall activity plan is to:  

• collate, summarise and develop the Society’s policies regarding personal travel.
• produce a review of contemporary topics regarding travel behaviour
• address travel-related environmental and sustainability matters as they arise.
• provide broad guidance on planning issues for the Planning Group
• ensure that travel behaviour issues are included in the Society’s responses to planning applications and development proposals.
• produce reports to highlight particular problem areas
• to inform and educate the community at large including key decision makers and influencers
• continue to scrutinise changes in the rail and bus system
• challenge decisions that we believe are not in the best interests of the citizens of Oxford.
